About the Wine Tasting

What to Expect Leading up to Your couch + cork Tasting

After we reach out about scheduling, you’ll get our simple contract and the option to supply guest info or have them do it using a really easy form they can fill out themselves.

Leading up to your tasting you and your guests will receive 3, non-salesly emails with information on how to access the tasting, fun information about grapes and wine. One of the best parts is that we ask them ahead of time what they plan on drinking and share a PDF with everyone that has pairings for every wine that will be in your tasting. That way you’ve got a great reference for years to come with pairings for wines you’ve tried and, more importantly, those you haven’t. You’ll be amazed how much food enhances the experience of wine. Got vegans? Gluten-free folks? Allergies? We have a trove of hand-curated pairings and recipes to meet every dietary need and if you’ve got someone in the group for whom our recipes and snacks don’t work, we’ll get on it and find some that do.

The Tasting

When it’s time, you’ll pour a glass and join the Zoom where your presenters (who are all certified wine experts with varying experience in the industry) will take you thru the tasting. It’s an absolute blast. You’ll laugh, you’ll get your questions answered, you’ll feel ready to head to the wine aisle. We’ll bust a few myths along the way and leave as friends.
