Amazon Holiday Gift Guide 2022

It’s that time of year! Time for picking out the perfect gift for the special people in your life. We’re kicking off our series of holiday gift guides with finds from Amazon, complete with links, to help you shop for the wine lover in your life (or yourself!). Just in time for Cyber Monday! These are affiliate links so we may earn a small commission but your price is the actual price.

Wine + Entertaining Tools (Perfect Host Gifts)

What good is throwing a holiday hullabaloo if you don’t have the equipment you need to do it? These are the perfect gifts for the hosts in your life who can’t get enough entertaining.

Open Up

While we eschew most wine gadgets with a firm hand, we were recently introduced to this rechargeable, automatic wine opener (thanks, Mik!)and we’re never going back. It’s absolutely worth the $22 (and that’s a 23% price cut!) to be able to quickly open corks with the press of a button. The best part? You can get the cork off the worm by just pressing the other button. Look, we’re partial to our waiters’ friends, too, but think about all the bottles that have to be opened for a party! Just hand this to whomever is helping you and the job will be done in no time. Foil cutter included!

Chill Out

Oh, NO! People are heading over, or even knocking at the door, and you forgot to chill the wine. While some wines are okay at room temperature and it’s perfectly acceptable to toss an ice cube or two in a glass, we get that it turns people off.

If you’ve got 15 minutes, you can use one of our all-time fav hacks. But if you don’t, there’s a tool you should have (and keep in your freezer. This stainless steel chilling rod is also an aerating pourer and comes with a wine stopper. And believe us, you can never have enough aerating pourers and stoppers.

In addition to a corny use of the word “chill” on the gift tag, make sure you let the recipient know that they should immediately rinse this tool, allow it to dry, and then put it in the freezer. And that’s the same process they should follow every time they use it!

Putting it in the freezer wet means the nightmare of it sticking to something or blocking the aerating pourer with ice, which defeats the purpose of getting the wine chilled quickly so you can drink it.

Another great option for getting and keeping wine cold is this set of 2 freezable tumblers. These are perfect for enjoying a glass outside or around the house when you’ve got a new bottle you don’t want to wait for. They’ll come in handy for spring outings, summer camping trips, travel and more! The gel inserts freeze quickly and the double wall will keep your hands from freezing up.

Graze Away

If the pandemic taught us anything, it’s that charcuterie is here to stay. Every 2022 holiday gift guide is going to include a board. We love this one because the knives come with it and have a designated holder, plus there are recessed areas for things like berries, chocolate-covered nuts, olives and other things may try to roll away.

This is perfect for any sort of grazing… cheese and charcuterie, sweets, hot cocoa, chips and dips, butter… you name it. Just remember that your board can’t go in the dishwasher! Clean with a damp cloth and then dry with a different one. Every few months (depending on how dry of a climate you live in), season your board with mineral oil to keep it like new. Yup, this is how to keep your board picture ready!

The best way to give this gift is with bags of snacks OR fully made into a grazing board for the party. You can bring it to your host’s home with cut cheeses, nuts, savory bites, veggies, and anything else you love to snack on, unwrap it and leave it for the perfect gift anyone who loves to host will use for years to come!

Set the Table

When it comes to setting a holiday table there are millions of options but we’ve got two must-have’s on our 2022 holiday gift guide. Wine glass charms keep everyone drinking from their own glass and are something people rarely buy for themselves. We love a classic charm, like these pewter and blue Hanukkah wine charms, but this year we’ve also been smitten by charms made from recycled bottle caps and magnetic charms.

Three options for wine charms: bottle-cap Kwanzaa, magnetic Christmas, bottle-cap Hanukkah
  1. Bottle-cap wine charms for Kwanzaa

  2. Magnetic wine charms for Christmas

  3. Bottle-cap wine charms for Hanukkah

And, if you want something understated that does the job, we’ve been recommending these single-gem magnetic wine charms for years and are still completely obsessed with them.

They add a gorgeous, understated pop of color to entertaining, perfect for when you’re using neutrals or a monochromatic look for your table scape. Don’t get us started on how great these look on Instagram!

While we’re not people who remember to use coasters in our own homes, we get their importance and we’re suckers for a snarky saying on a coaster. That’s why we cannot resist this set of six coasters (that comes with a simple black holder).

If you like these as much as we do, check out this fitted, long-sleeved, cropped sweatshirt over at our shop that let’s everyone know that “this wine tastes like I’m about to tell you how I really feel.” We just added it to our collection and cannot wait to start wearing it!

Gifts for When the Party’s Over

Very few people think to give gifts that have to do with when the party is over, but we’ve got you covered. Hosts need things for saving opened wine (pairs perfectly with that wine opener we recommended!)

Wine Condoms are one of the best ways to save bottles for a few days in the fridge and the perfect gift for people who like to have options. For premium bottles, we cannot recommend Repour enough. These puppies can keep a bottle fresh (by sucking out Oxygen with their Stamford-created technology) for 2 weeks.

Gifts for People Who Save Wrapping Paper

Sometimes it’s not just what’s inside the gift but also the packaging that makes it special. We’ve got three suggestions in our 2022 Holiday Gift Guide for wrapping up a bottle of wine.

For the Puzzle Lovers on Your List

If you’ve got a puzzle or game lover in your life, this is the only way to wrap a bottle of wine. Sure, it might take a little while to get the gift bottle in place but think of how much fun it will be for the recipient to do one of their fav things in order to unlock another.

Our two favorite styles of puzzle boxes are the wooden-style where ropes and various wooden pieces have to be manipulated to release the bottle. We also love the cryptex-style version that comes with a trivia game called Spin the Bottle.

For Hanukkah

Bring on the blue and silver! We really love these wine gift bags with tags.

For the Decorations Lover

Gnomes are IN for Christmas 2022 so no holiday gift guide would be complete without these adorable wine holders that are also a perfect decoration on the mantle, tabletop or anywhere else you’d like.
