Before we sign off, here are a few tips to make your Valentine’s Day evening EVEN MORE memorable:
Don’t wait for romance, love is love! Choose whoever is special to you to cook, sip and enjoy this delicious evening with, be it your family, your pickleball partner or your bestest friends. And if you’ve been eyeing your sexy neighbor, invite them over, too!
Ambience is everything and for me it starts with lighting. Use “warm white” or “soft white” labeled bulbs, which create a cozy and soft atmosphere. Stick to lamps, not overhead lighting. And don’t put away those twinkling holiday lights yet either!
If you’re going to use candles, use unscented ones while cooking, eating and tasting the wines. Light scented candles when you’re cleaning up so that the house smells fresh again. Don’t forget to blow them out before going to bed! We know how distracted people can be on Valentine’s Day 😜
