Cara Thatch is a self-trained chef who has loved to cook and experiment with ingredients since baking cookies as a little girl. Her love for cooking was re-sparked when laid off during the pandemic. Since then, she has been attempting ambitious dishes and devouring information from every cookbook to learn and develop into a professional chef. She has a passion for sustainable and beautiful local ingredients, and creating delicious food for the community.
Outside of work, Cara enjoys hiking and kayaking with her boyfriend and small pup. She attended art school and still enjoys painting and collage on the side.Cara has found cooking to be a wonderful artistic and creative outlet.
Cara was born and raised in Central New Jersey, and has called Bennington, Vermont home since 2019.
