Join Nancy at Bennington Community Market where you’ll taste and learn about sparkling wine. The Market currently stocks three unique sparkling wines, a black Muscat from Greece, rosé from Germany and red from Italy. These wines are all food-friendly and for every-day drinking, not just celebrating.

This tasting will cover everything you didn’t know you wanted to know about sparkling wine including it’s history, the many ways it’s made, where it’s made around the world and (most importantly) how to pair sparkling wine with food.

You’ll taste our three examples (and possibly a few other fun surprises) alone and with food so that you can re-create pairings at home or explore your own. Everyone will receive a pairing guide to each wine so that if you like them you can have fun with them at home.
