good.

Believe it or not, there is good, cheap wine out there just waiting for you to drink it. Even if you’re on a budget, you can purchase and enjoy red, white, rosé and even sparkling wines that will leave you wondering if the price was wrong. The Good tastes 4 grocery-store wines that are under $10 each.

The Agenda

This night starts with a glass of bubbly and a lesson in spitting technique (safety first!).

Next, we’ll talk about what goes into wine price and taste four examples of locally available budget-priced wine. While we taste we’ll talk about each wine (style, region, grape, blend) and how to serve and pair it.

Throughout the tasting, participants will learn all sorts of things: how to store wine, how to open it, and how—and for how long—to store it. We’ll also bust some common myths about wine and learn the secret that will blow everyone’s mind (only available if red wine is included).

Finally, we’ll talk about selecting wines at the grocery store and some great online bargains.

Who’s This Good For?

This tasting is perfect for those new to wine or on a budget. New parents, recent college grads, or anyone else who has other things that require their financial attention but still want to enjoy a glass.

Note for Hosts

This tasting lasts 90-120 minutes. We’ll send snack ideas (and simple recipes) well in advance. We recommend giving each participant an assigned snack to bring to keep your evening nice and chill.
