Nancy Koziol, Founder
An internationally-certified wine expert, author and journalist, Nancy created couch + cork to share her knowledge of wine in a fun, safe way. She combines her love of teaching, passion for wine and experience traveling wine regions to bring the best part of wine right to your couch or boardroom.
Nancy is active in her local business community, believing in collaboration over competition. She loves to support other local ventures. couch + cork was Southwestern Vermont Chamber of Commerce 2020 Member of the Year. She’s a proud Rotarian, volunteers regularly and sits on the Boards of The Southwestern Vermont Chamber of Commerce, Bennington Farmers’ Market (Secretary) and is the Business Sector Liaison to Alliance for Community Transformations. She was recently named Alliance for Community Transformations’ Member of the Year. Nancy is a regular contributor to HuffPost and Santé. She is also Wine Director at the award-winning Hermitage Inn in West Dover, Vermont, managing a wine list of 400+ unique labels.
When she’s not working, Nancy loves being in the wilderness with her husband and dog, traveling and taking in live music.
Nancy is a Brooklynite by temperament but a Vermonter by choice. She brings her signature brand of humor, deep love of wine and love of people to every tasting.
