Did You Know…

Wine glasses, bottles, solo cups and paper plates with cheese and crackers on a table with maps and wine notes

…that we are now offering classes?? I bet you didn’t since there are only three spots left in the first of the series and you haven’t nabbed them! These initial classes are all about tasting wine, sipping it, swishing it around your mouth, clicking your tongue and declaring it sweet or acidic or sometimes even chewy!

Why You Should Sign Up - ask Yourself:

Do I want to drink Pinot Noir or Petit Syrah ? Sure, someone could tell you based on a game of 20 questions! But how great would it feel to know know this on your own? Really great! That is why couch + cork is offering wonderfully affordable classes that are going to make your life so much easier. Well, at least when it comes to picking a wine!

How can I get better at describing what I like and don’t like so that I’m more likely to buy or order the wine I want? Wine tasting 101 to the rescue! This class will teach you exactly how to get into the habit of thinking about the different aspects of a wine and systematically cataloging them so that you are able to really learn what you love and describe it in a way other people understand.

Do I want to be a winner? Yes, yes you do! At the end of this first series of classes, you can win some fun prizes in a March Madness-style tasting tournament which is part of the final session!

So Come Join us!

One Last Thing!

If I hadn’t met Nancy or started working at couch + cork, I would never have learned that a Riesling goes well with spicy carbs. As a Pakistani who loves spicy, potatoey goodness, this particular pairing has made my life! So if you don’t manage to grab a seat for yourself for Wine Tasting 101, keep a look out for the next series which is all about wine and food pairing!
